PAYMENT OPTIONS
Either at the time of your STAR appointment or on your day of surgery, you will meet with our business staff regarding payment options. As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill your insurance company for their portion of the cost of your care. Advance payment is customary for self-pay patients and for any copays, coinsurance and/or deductibles, and is requested at the time of admission. If your insurance company requires referral and/or authorization, please make sure one is on file prior to your day of surgery.
Payments can be made using cash, check, MasterCard, VISA or Discover. You may also apply for a no-interest payment plan through Care Credit. To apply online, go to www.carecredit.com. To speak with a member of our billing department, call 540-260-9508. Please note that in addition to the charges from your physician and the Surgery Center, you may also receive separate statements from anesthesia, lab and/or pathology services.
